Libya and Morocco have signed a partnership and cooperation agreement, aimed at strengthening trade, including export and import, between the two countries.

The European Commissioner for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ms. Maria Damanaki initialled a 4-year Protocol to the Fisheries Partnership Agreement (FPA) with the Moroccan Minister for Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch.

Fisheries production in the Sultanate of Oman has increased 21% in 2012 compared to 2011, according to H E Dr Hamed Said al Aufi, Undersecretary for Fisheries in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.

Japan has granted Morocco 60 million dirhams to promote the sectors of fisheries and clean energy, under two agreements signed in Rabat.
