Mr AZIZ Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries: «15 billion dirhams generated by fish exports»

The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries announced on january 28, 2015 holding the international exhibition Halieutis. By the same occasion, he took the opportunity to review the situation of the fisheries sector in Morocco.

« Fish exports exceeded 15.16 billion dirhams in 2014, which is a first of its kind. The added value of this sector increased by 33% since 2009, » according to Mr Aziz Akhannouch Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries at a press conference on Wednesday 28 January in Casablanca, dedicated to the presentation of the 3rd edition of the international exhibition Halieutis which is held every two years.
