Buoyant European crab imports for 2007
2007 looks set to be a positive year for crab imports in key European markets. For the January – July period, volumes are up this year between 16 and 18% for France, Spain and Italy compared to the same period last year. With the key live / chilled category largely stable in all three markets, the increase is due to stronger frozen imports and, in the case of France, to higher preserved crab volumes
