Mr Chahed Youssef, Secretary of State for Fisheries, declared that the Ministry of Agriculture has its own conception for the reform of the fisheries sector in the city of Bizerte, "We know that this sector suffers from several problems" he said during his working visit in the city of Bizerte.

The Secretary of State said that the department will not opt for a parachuted reform but a reform that involves professionals in the sector: "Thus we can guarantee the reform success. We hope that during the first hundred days, we will implement a strategy to rehabilitate this field". Among the reform issues, he cited ports situation.
