The Fisheries Committee of the European Parliament approved during a vote, November 22nd, to extend the Morocco-EU Fisheries Agreement.

This approval strengthens Morocco’s position, as the country had launched forward-looking projects within the framework of its fisheries strategy which aims at reinforcing the sector’s competitiveness.

After this approval, the entire European Parliament is expected to vote on the Agreement next December.
