At the request of the FAO’s Fisheries and Aquaculture Department (FIPM), INFOSAMAK organized a study tour for fish processing entrepreneurs from Georgia to anchovies processing plants in Agadir, Morocco. The study tour took place on 12 to 14 May 2015. The visit is organized within the framework of a Technical Cooperation Project between FAO and Georgia: “Strengthening of the National Food Agency to meet the international market requirements for fish and fishery products”. The agenda included visits to anchovy processing plants as well as to the Specialized Center of Value addition and Technology of Marine Products (National Institute of Fisheries Research).
